Can I add, change or rename a breakout room during a meeting?

Essentially – the question in the subject!

Specifically, I've read that this is only a feature in Pro versions. So then: how do I determine what version of Zoom I have; and if I have the Pro version where do I find the means to turn this option on?

Thanks Ray. Yes, I've read this article. Do you have any thoughts on either of my specific questions?

The version is down in the Statistics tab of the desktop app Settings window.

The Zoom Support article answers your other question:

Thank you. Firstly, when I look in settings it only says the version (6.0.10) but not whether it is Zoom Pro. I take it that the option I'm talking about is only available in Pro? That's why I was asking how I find that out. Secondly, when I follow these instructions and hover over a participant's name I do not see any option to do anything about a breakout room. I can create breakout rooms fine but I have found no way to add one after that.

I believe I saw a similar question posted in another community chat.

You need to activate the option in your account settings. I was able to activate it and then in the meeting you can create more breakout rooms, delete and rename them.

From the release notes, sounds like Zoom needs to enable something, (Maybe your account owner or admin needs to request it?) and then admins/owners must also enable the feature:

Yes, I did this weeks ago and because there does not seem to be any option to click I reached out to this specialist community because I'm not seeing what is being described

Hey, @ju_day.

When you look at your settings here (https://zoom.us/profile/setting) type in "breakout" in the search box, and look to see if you have Breakout Rooms enabled (the blue switches to the right side), and the various options enabled (the check marks toward the left):
