Cab I reuse a 2024 ZOOM mtg ID and passcode for 2025 meetings

Hi, I am scheduling zoom meetings for once a month in 2025. The question is?

Can I set up the 2025 recurring meetings using the same meeting ID and passcode

that I used for 2024 meetings? Or is this a random generated assignment that I have no control over?

Thanks

If you schedule a meeting and specifically designate it as a Recurring Meeting when scheduling it, Zoom will use the same meeting id and passcode for each instance of the meeting.

If you are trying to schedule individual meetings with the same meeting id, the only way to do that is to use your Personal Meeting Id which has a fixed Id and Passcode.  The risk of doing that, though, is that the meeting is essentially always open, so anyone can join your PMI if they know the Id and Passcode at any time.  And you only have 1, so you can't schedule multiple recurring meetings with different ids.

Thanks for the reply. Looks like I will have to schedule recurring 2025 meetings with a new

Mtg ID and Passcode. You didn't exactly address how to use last year's numbers.

@Cincy356 - If you go into this year's recurring meeting, you can change the end date to the end of 2025 and it will reuse this year's numbers through next year.
