That mic uses bluetooth so you need to be sure that it is properly connected to the mobile device and be sure that the mic has been selected in the Zoom app via the bluetooth icon.

If this works please click accept as a solution.

I posted about the same exact problem on 6/12 but haven't heard from Zoom yet. Is the company working on a solution or this is a structural bug that can't be resolved?

"I bought my original Bud Pro 3 from Bestbuy website. I paired it with my Samsung Galaxy 24+ (software updated to current version, I have automatic update turned on).

The bud is good except that when I use it for Zoom meeting (on my phone), the mic doesn't work. Meaning, no one could hear what I say. When I change to my old JBL headset, everything works fine - both mic and speaker are functioning. I can participate in the zoom meeting as usual. Moreover, I've been using Zoom on my phone for many years without any problems (using other headsets)

I've tested the Bud Pro 3 mic with the voice recorder that comes with the phone. It works fine too so there is no hardware issues with the bud. I also have no problems using it in normal phone call (voice network) and whatsapp call (mobile data)

Last but not least, I've reset the ear bud several times and the issue remains.

I've contacted Samsung and they've sent me another pair of the Bud Pro 3, the same issue remains. They believe this is a Zoom mobile specific software issues.

Some other users have reported similar issues with Zoom on PC and the solution is to turn off "Spatial sound". Unfortunately, there isn't much audio settings I could adjust on the zoom mobile.

This is a Zoom mobile specific issues. I've tried using the Bud with Zoom on  my Win11 notebook PC and it works fine. "

As an audio and broadcast engineer I can tell you that computer audio can be very complicated.

There is a known issue with this hardware on Android mobile devices.

Below are some posible steps to resolve the issue with your Galaxy Buds 3 Pro:

Step 1: Update Galaxy Buds 3 Pro Firmware

1. Open the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone
2. Connect your Galaxy Buds 3 Pro to the app
3. Update earbuds software
4. Follow the prompts to update the firmware

Step 2: Reset Galaxy Buds 3 Pro

Do not connect the earbuds until after joining the meeting

1. Put your Galaxy Buds 3 Pro in the charging case
2. Close the case and wait for at least 10 seconds
3. Open the case and try connecting to your phone again after the meeting has been joined

Step 3: Configure Zoom Audio Settings

1. Open Zoom on your phone
2. Go through the app's settings and check input device. There you should make sure the Buds 3 Pro's are selected.

3. Check your media output settings and or on zoom app settings and permissions as well.
Step 5: Restart Your Phone

Sometimes uninstalling the Zoom app, restarting the phone, and reinstalling the Zoom app will work.

If this works please click accept as a solution.

This problem is the same for me, and of course its bluetooth, and of course its connected, and of course it shows bluetooth connected to the zoom call.  The zoom app connects to the bluetooth headset, and audio is present through the samsung pro buds 3.  However, the audio from the microphone on the pro buds 3 is not making it to the zoom app.  Microphone is fine, there is a conflict in the app with the audio from the microphone - this is important to fix.
