Breakout rooms

We recently held an event that lasted several hours, in the morning we had one lot of 4 breakout rooms and we pre-allocated people into each breakout room and this worked perfectly. In the afternoon we had another lot of 4 breakout rooms and we again pre-allocated people into each breakout room, however, it didn’t work and instead sent all the people into the same breakout room that we had allocated to in the morning instead of the afternoon. Could this be because we didn’t delete the mornings breakout rooms and start new breakout rooms for the afternoon session? If, after the morning’s breakout rooms, we delete the rooms and start new breakout rooms for the afternoon session, should this in theory work seamlessly?

Appreciate your assistance on this as we’re holding this same event (same format) in a couple of weeks.
