Bought new airpods and now zoom will not recognize the new ones

I bought new airpods when my old ones died, and when I directly select Bill's airpods it will not play through my new airpods. How can I get zoom to forget my old airpods and find my new ones? My new airpods connect to all my devices no problem, but zoom will not play through them / recognize them

what zoom application are you using, for example, meetings, webinars, rooms, events, phone, etc.?

are your airpods on the zoom certified equipment lists?

Hello, I have the same problem as the OP and have just downloaded and installed the latest ZOOM with updated AI (from 22nd July 2024). New airpods *still* not recognised. I really need this facility as I'm an online language teacher.
