On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Board Meetings, Guest Access

We are doing a virtual board meeting and will have various outside guest visitors joining us at different times throughout the day.   Is the best way to manage when people enter the meeting to place everyone in the waiting room and have the host / co-host allow them in?    And in order to place them in the waiting room, do I have to add their names to the zoom invite or if they have the zoom link, is that enough?

You can set the meeting settings to - place everyone in the waiting room on entry - you will find this under Settings, Meeting, Waiting Room

Sorry - thats, Settings, General, Meetings, Waiting Room

Thank you.   And this allows the host to let everyone in individually.  For example, the meeting starts at 10am (5 attendees),  accepts each one in from the waiting room.  At 10:45, two additional people join via the link and they are placed in the waiting room, the host is notified and then allows them in.

yes - that is correct
