Blurred Background Not Available On Brand New, Top-of-the-Line Google Pixel 10 Pro?

I have a brand new Google Pixel 10 Pro XL. It has 16gb of RAM and runs Android 16. Zoom app version is 6.6.5.34303 (Oct 20, 2025). The chip is a Tensor G5 (arm64) and GPU is Imagination PowerVR DXT-48-1536.

It appears that the blurred background feature is not available. Following the instructions in the support documentation here, I expect to see "Backgrounds & effects" on the menu, but it's not there.

The system requirements give specifics around certain chips that are supported. Pixel 10 Pro's GPU is not listed but it also says that Google phones are supported.  This is the 5th gen of Tensor chips so you think they'd have added support by now.

TIA

Is it possible that Zoom doesn't support Google Pixel phones?

Hi @Zudnic

Thanks for posting! This issue has been confirmed by our team, and a fix is planned for the upcoming 6.6.10 release of the Zoom app.

Once that version is available, updating should restore the blurred background option.

Appreciate your patience while this gets resolved!
