Black Screen

How do I fix a black screen??  I could not share my documents or course materials today in class because of a black screen.  I did not have this problem last week.  Very frustrating trying to get help to get rid of this black screen.

      This is my issue too. How can we fix this? I can only see a black screen when someone is screen sharing.

      I have a long black rectangle from top to bottom of screen and is flanked by black squares on either side!

      A community with questions only and with no replies... looks weird
