Hey @Podcaster786,

Thank you for sharing your concern. No, Zoom's Studio Effects, including filters like lip color, facial hair, and eyebrow shape, are not exclusively available in paid Zoom accounts. While some features may have regional or account type restrictions, Studio Effects are generally available to users on both free and paid Zoom accounts.

On the free Zoom version, you can record meetings on both desktop and Android devices, but it's limited to local recording only, meaning the recordings are saved to your computer or device, not to the Zoom cloud. To record, you'll need to initiate the recording manually during the meeting.

Hi! You're mostly correct on the free Zoom plan for Android, the Beauty Filter or Studio Effects features are very limited or sometimes not available depending on your device and region. These features work better and more consistently on the desktop version, especially with updated Zoom clients and supported hardware.

As for recording, on the free version:

  • On desktop: You can do local recordings (saved directly to your computer).

  • On Android: Zoom doesn’t support native recording unless you're the meeting host and using a third-party screen recorder.

If you're creating content and want to look your best on camera, consider improving your natural glow with a solid skincare routine we offer same-day delivery for skincare products in Singapore at Royal Aesthetics and Beauty . 😊

Hope this helps!
