On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Need help please...

For the free Basic Plan, can I have a meeting with 2 other participants (i.e. total of 3 people in the call) for a duration of 2 hours?  Thanks!

Hi, @gupta_rajiv

You can have a meeting with 2 other participants. However, the meeting will be held just for only 40 minutes, not 2 hours.

See more, https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/202460676-Time-limits-for-idle-meetings#h_f78c6143-b5b0-4a...

Free licenses (Basic)

Meeting ends after 40 minutes (active or idle)

  • 1 host, 2 participants or more at the same time
  • 0 host, 3 participants or more at the same time (join before host)

Note: If participants leave the meeting and join again before their first connection is fully terminated, it may count them as two different participants and trigger the 40-minute time limit.

Cheers!
