Anyone know why "blur background" no longer available for older CPUs? I seem to recall that it worked in the past. In addition, MS' Skype is still able to implement it flawlessly! Asked ZOOM via chat box, but 'bot spewed several totally irrelevant answers and live agent would not communicate with "free" users.

Here is a support article by Zoom listing the requirements for Zoom Virtual Background which is required to enable your virtual background (blur background is considered to be a virtual background). It's possible it worked for you in the past with a earlier version of Zoom, but the new Zoom update may no longer support older hardware.
