Background of zoom video screen is vague where there is no body (parts) (not blurred)

Since my last update my personal Zoom screen has a vague background outside of my body parts.
As a therapist who uses puppets and pointers that is quite uncomfortable.
Zoom was uninstalled and reinstalled - no change.

In comparison: when pictures/screenshots are made in Photobooth the image is clear.
