Avatar was working and now has disappeared - I don't have the toggle avatar switch to turn it on

It looks like my computer can handle the avatar and it actually worked for a while.  Then my computer updated and now I can't find where to even get the avatar back.  When I search it the responses say to toggle on avatars under advanced meeting, but that option isn't available.  

I am the owner of the account - basic workplace.
