On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Avatar BETA caused camera to stop working

A few days ago I tried out the new Avatar BETA feature. It worked well and I created an avatar for my informal meeting. But when I tried to disable the avatar, the camera showed as if it was disabled, even though it is on and the camera light shows it's capturing. I have reset my Windows camera, restarted, updated camera software and Zoom software - but nothing has worked. Even now when I go into Windows camera settings it shows as enabled, but I get no image. Even the other VC apps doe the same now. Has anyone else experienced this? Please help, I am a teacher and need to be on camera. Thank you.

Okay I found the solution on another post. I had to press the F-key (in my case it's F10) which then enabled the camera again. Gosh how embarrassing! lol. Sorry - and thank you to "Frank_TB" who posted the solution for someone else. (PS. I didn't know how to delete my post above, hence the follow up here to say that I am sorted.)
