Audio distortion

I am getting sound distortion through my Dell laptop when using Zoom. This doesn't happen with any other video conferencing products or other audio through the speakers. I have tried uninstalling zoom and installing it again but no different. When I test the speaker in audio settings, it starts to distort after the first 2 or 3 rings. The native speakers selected in settings are Cirrus Logic High Definition Audio. Any help, much appreciated.

I have the same problem. It showed up last night on a conference when I shared my screen to share some photos. The sound was very distorted. I am using an Asus windows 11 laptop. I cannot find any definitive solution. Does Zoom have a customer service department? I tried it on my macbook air and it was fine. But i have all the things i normally use on the windows machine and i don't want to have to switch computers for this.

I have done this and got a quick response and am trying to resolve it now.
