Apply a template to an existing meeting

Why can I not apply a template to an existing meeting?  When I go to edit, my templates are not listed.  The only option is "none".  Is there not a way to change the template without redoing the whole meeting?

      Templates are by design intended for use in creating new meetings. If you would like to see the ability to apply templates to existing meetings, you can suggest a feature update by visiting https://zoom.us/feed.
