I bought my mom some corded Apple EarPods with a standard 3.5mm headphone jack with the hopes that she'd be able to use them for Zoom calls in order not to blast the noise at the rest of the house all day.
Unfortunately, she tried plugging them in earlier today and this weird "Realtek __" message kept popping up and you could still hear the meeting through the computer speakers.
As you may be able to tell, I am only familiar with Apple systems.
What's going on? What would the EarPods show up as when she plugs them in?
What setting adjustments would fix this?
Thanks!
