I use zoom for one on one meetings with many different people. I am always able to annotate when I share my screen.
However, I am not always able to annotate when my participant shares their screen. It seems to be completely random. Anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this? I need to be able to annotate when any participant shares their screen.
Thank you

Hi @patrick4 thank you for your post here on the Zoom Community! So I'd like to ask, during these times that you can't annotate, have you noticed that you are the only one who cannot? The reason I ask is because it is possible for meeting hosts to have their annotation capabilities disabled.
Some notes on that https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/4409894568845-Enabling-or-disabling-annotation-tools-for-m...
As this article mentions the meeting host can even disable annotation during the meeting so it's just something to be aware of https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/115005706806-Using-annotation-tools-for-collaboration

I have the same problem - in one day, during 3 different Zoom meetings, I HAD Annotate tools, then DIDN'T have them, then HAD them again. Totally frustrating while trying to teach. Problem has occurred for many months now. Can you help us???
FYI: I've tried turning Annotate on and off during a Zoom meeting, as advised elsewhere, but this has NO impact.
