Always on meeting room where people can come/go throughout the day.

I work at a mostly remote place.   We have trouble meeting everyone that works here.  Is there a way to have an always going meeting room that authenticated people can just drop into and talk to whomever else is in there?  Kind of like a virtual water cooler.
