Allow alternate host or co-host to trim a meeting cloud recording.

I am trying to figure out how to allow an executive admin to trim their bosses Zoom meeting recordings before it is shared out with others.  Have tried setting as alternate host.  Even created a role based group and added both her and the boss into that group and allowed recording management privileges.  She still cannot see the scissors on the recordings especially past meetings. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to allow her to see and edit recordings of her boss.

You may want to test Scheduling privilege. I don't know if it allows the person  to trim recordings, but it does say that it allows the person to "manage" them. Try it and let us know.

Scheduling privilege is designed for a user or an executive admin to:

• Assign or delegate a user or multiple users in your account to schedule meetings on your behalf. 
• Schedule meetings on behalf of a user (or multiple users) that has assigned you scheduling privilege. If both users have a webinar license, they can also schedule webinars for you.
• Access cloud recordings and meeting reports for those you are a delegate for. 
• Act as an alternative host for any meetings you have scheduling privilege for. 

You and the assigned scheduler must both be Licensed or On-Prem.

We tried that today and it is not allowing trimming capabilites for a cohost.

Unfortunately, an alternative host does not have the ability to trim recordings. Trimming recordings is a feature that only the host or the account owner/admin can perform. You may submit this as a feature request via our feedback form. You can check this article on how to submit one.
