Airplay iPad to AppleTV Audio Choppy / Clipping

Two different iPads Airplay to AppleTV. Audio always choppy or clipping. But Mac Airplay to AppleTV then audio works fine even though the Mac is on the same WiFi network (no Ethernet connection). So it’s not the internet connection or WiFi network. Also, same audio issue whether the iPads are on WiFi or Cellular. 

Rebooting the iPads and AppleTV may clear things up, but the audio clipping soon returns. 

Other streaming content plays flawlessly when Airplayed from the iPads to the AppleTV (YouTube, Netflix, Music, etc). Only Zoom Meetings experience the choppy or clipping audio. 

Extremely frustrating.
