Accessing a zoom session that didn't record

I recently did an interview and thought I'd recorded it but it didn't show up as having recorded and I'm wondering if I accidentally hit pause (the subject was having video and audio problems at the beginning). If I did not record it, did Zoom? Is there any way for me to get that session?

as far as i know, the host needs to turn on recording for zoom to create a recording of s meeting.

you might want to check zoom privacy to confirm.
