2 July 2024 - Zoom desktop windows 10 - not opening following update

Zoom automatically updated on my Windows 10 PC yesterday (1 July 2024) to version 6.11 (41705)
> unable to open Zoom
> I uninstalled Zoom
> ran Cleanzoom (see https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0065146 )
> reinstalled Zoom
> restarted PC
> Zoom not opening - no error message

I installed the 32bit version and that works. Rather confusing why 64bit version isn't working. Any ideas anyone/

Ugh, thank you! I'd been uninstalling and reinstalling older versions of 64bit. This seems to have worked.... now just going to disable automatic updates.

Also 64 bit version of zoom doesn't work after update.  I install 32 bit version and it works.

    When updating Zoom now (32bit version), Zoom doesn't open after the update. I have to 
    > uninstalled Zoom
    > run Cleanzoom (see https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0065146 )
    > then reinstalled Zoom 32 bit
    then Zoom works. So having to do this every few weeks isn't great
