Whatever happened to clipboarding of Zoom invites?

How come nowadays when I create a meeting I don't get an invite that I can paste into email and send to another person? Instead I'm directed to Google calendar. This is useless to me and provides no copy and paste option.

You could highlight the meeting invitation using your cursor, copy by right clicking and then paste it in your email client to send to another person. Alternatively there is a Zoom app, Salepager, that lets you copy a Zoom invitation to clipboard by taping on the relevant meeting.

But why did it change and why's it going to my calendar?
