Linking to a Zoom meeting on Facebook

I belong to a closed Facebook discussion group. We are having an event on Sunday and want to link a scheduled Zoom meeting to that event. How is that done?

  1. Create a new Event in your Facebook Group.
  2. Select Online for the type
  3. Select General
  4. Type in the Event Name
  5. Set the Date and Time of the Event
  6. Click Next
  7. Select External Link
  8. Paste your Zoom Meeting URL into the Event Link field.
  9. Complete the event creation wizard
