On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Zoom webinar and meeting at the same time?

Hi. I have set up a webinar in zoom. I am the host and have a co-host in the same organisation.

I also need to set up a meeting in zoom that will overlap in timing with the webinar.

Can I have a meeting and a webinar running at the same time on one account?

Nope.

The best way to setup your account is to have one license allocated to you as the account owner and the other to the person you have defined as the cohost. You can then setup the account to schedule meetings on behalf of the cohost  and you will be able to setup the meeting/webinar for the cohost (depending on which license you allocate to them) and the cohost will be able to start the second event (meeting or webinar)
