Custom Live Streaming

We have many zoom users under our account that are livestreaming their webinars to our YouTube Channel. One issue we've run into is being able to start a custom livestream during a webinar on an iPhone. Once a webinar is scheduled we configure the custom streaming service to auto-start on our YouTube Channel, but users that are trying to start their custom livestream from their iPhone are unable to do so. The "more" button in host controls only displays the "Live on YouTube" option and does not show the "Live on Custom Live Streaming Service" option. We have no issues with being able to select this option on a tablet or laptop. So, is this just a limitation on iPhones and/or all cell phones?

The short answer is yes. Streaming to Youtube is available for mobile.

Prerequisites for livestreaming meetings or webinars on YouTube

Streaming for Zoom Meeting

Pro, Business, Education, or Enterprise account
The host is Licensed
Zoom desktop client:
- Windows: version 4.4.53582 or higher
- macOS: version 4.4.53582 or higher
Zoom mobile client
- Android: version 5.4.0 or higher
- iOS: version 5.4.0 or higher
Livestreaming is enabled on YouTube
Group HD video/Full HD (1080p) is enabled for higher video quality

Custom live-streaming is not.

Streaming for meetings

Pro, Business, Education, or Enterprise account
The host is Licensed
Zoom desktop client:
- Windows: version 4.0.29183.0407 or higher
- macOS: version 4.0.29208.0410 or higher
Group HD video/Full HD (1080p) is enabled for higher video quality

Streaming for webinars

Pro, Business, Education, or Enterprise account
The host is assigned a Webinar license
Zoom desktop client:
- Windows: version 4.0.29183.0407 or higher
- macOS: version 4.0.29208.0410 or higher
Group HD video/Full HD (1080p) is enabled for higher video quality

Just as regular business practice when live streaming services I use a laptop/desktop device with an additional monitor so that I can observe the zoom, livestream, chat windows etc simultaneously.
