On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Can I add an action button to a webinar or meeting?

I'm considering using Zoom for a one-hour virtual fundraiser for 200-300 people. I need a button or link displayed throughout the session that takes attendees to a donation page. Can Zoom do this? Other webinar software that has this feature typically requires an annual subscription. Since this is a one-time event, I want to pay for just one month.

Thanks.

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @KWeiss.

I’m not aware of any Zoom Webinar feature that would allow for a Call To Action button.

If you’re on a budget, you might take a look at WebinarTV, a free Webinar hosting service that does include a Call to Action button taking attendees to any URL you want. Check them out at https://WebinarTV.us. They don’t have a few of the bells and whistles Zoom has, but definitely worth considering, given your needs.

Ray -- check out the GoodClix website or the Z-SPAN website.

Will a button is not available you can add donation information for all participants to see and use. You can leverage custom closed captions and APIs to ensure a message is pinned to the meeting or webinar display with the donation information (including a link) to direct attendees to a donation page. This will be visible throughout the meeting and let participants donate. If you are not a developer there is a Zoom app, Salepager, that lets you pin donation information as a caption to your Zoom meetings.
