Hi
i recently hosted a meeting, where one of the participants requested to record the meeting. I granted permission for this at the start of the meeting.
I am a basic account holder.
After the meeting, (the following day) the participant that had recorded, contacted me to state that they couldn’t access their recording and that Zoom support said that me (as the host) must have deleted it or changed permissions. The participant is a Pro account holder and stated they saved their recording to the cloud.
I knew I had not deleted or changed anything so I logged in to see if I could see their recording but I can’t see it.
can anyone help as to where I would go to access their recording and how I can help them access it?
TIA

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @Ann0.
If you are a Basic account holder and the meeting owner, Cloud Recording isn’t possible for your meeting – by you or any of your attendees. When enabled to record, any recording made would be a local recording on the machine of the person doing the recording.
Refer your attendee to this Zoom Support article for some assistance:

As an admin, log into zoom.us and navigate to Account Management -> Recording Management to access all recordings for users on your account.

Thank you for replying.
the only options I have under account management are Account Profile and Reports. Most of which I can’t access as it says I need to upgrade to access.
There is nothing here about recordings.
do you have any other suggestions please?
as I have just a basic account, can I even access other participants recordings?
TIA

No, you'd have to ask the Pro account holder (or an admin on their account if they are not one) to look.

Thank you.
I will let them know and advise they do this.
Thank you
