Can't uninstall or update to new versions of zoom

I need to join a zoom meeting, but I am prompted to update my zoom. My zoom version is currently at 5.15, I need to update to 6.00. The update process necessitates the uninstallation of the previous version. I am faced with this error message:

"The path "C:\Users\mhonn\AppData\Local\Temp\4C1F4B~2\target.msi" cannot be found. Verify that you have access to this location and try again, or try to find the installation package "target.msi" in a folder from which you can install the product Zoom (64-bit)."

I do not know how to progress from this. Send help.
