Zoom AI Companion - update can no longer toggle on and off during the meeting

I love the companion feature and use it often with most of the meetings. Before the update, I was able to pause it during meetings when private or irrelevant information was being discussed and start it once we arrived at the intention for the call. Please bring that option back. It made such a difference to have the option to "filter" out the personal from the business.

This is a really important feature. Please add it back, Zoom! Very important for business meetings that occasionally touch on information such as salaries and other HR matters that should be recorded in a more secure and confidential manner.

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @bblakeAMS! We're glad to have you here. Please update your Zoom app to the latest version. You should see a "Stop AI Companion" button at the top when it's active, and a "Start AI Companion" button when it's turned off.

Once stopped, can you re-start? Will you get a summary of the first portion of the meeting before you stopped it?

If you click on "Stop," you will be prompted if you want to delete the meeting assets. If you do not click on the check box, they will be saved. You can then restart the AI Companion anytime you want.
