On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Zoom AI Companion Personal Meeting Room

Hello 

When I launch a meeting in my personal meeting room, I have to manually start the AI Companion, but that's not necessary when I create a new meeting.  

 

Recently, I've been receiving a pop-up asking if I want to start the AI Companion, which serves as a helpful reminder to begin or agree to use the companion. Unfortunately, I accidentally selected the option to stop seeing that pop-up message, and now I'm no longer receiving the reminders. I’ve checked the settings but can't find a way to turn the pop-up back on.  

 

I would appreciate any guidance on how I can restore the pop-ups.

If anyone comes across this post needing help resolving this issue, I will add the solution below. I ended up reaching out to the support team, and Richard was able to help me resolve the issue. Unfortunately, the pop-up has gone away, but at least now the AI Companion starts automatically in my personal meeting room, so the pop-up is no longer needed. 

You can enable automatic AI summary for your Personal Meeting Room by following these steps:
1.) Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
2.) Go to Meetings > Personal Room.
3.) Edit the Personal Room settings.

4.) Under AI Companion, enable Automatically Start and select either Questions or Summary.
5.) Click Save.
