Meeting summary in the wrong language

Just got off a meeting and received the AI summary... in Japanese when we were all speaking English. I have no idea how to change it to English or why it was in Japanese in the first place. How to ensure the summary stays in English?

(all participants are in Japan, but ironically it's an English conversation club)

    I apologize for the inconvenience caused by not receiving the meeting summary in your preferred language. Based on my understanding, if the captions for the meeting were enabled in Japanese, the meeting summary will be generated in the language set for captions.     Hi CarlaA,
    Sorry but I have the same issue even if I'm located in France, I had updated my zoom settings in English. The meeting was held in English language and
    1 - The summary from AI companion I received is in French (understandable however).
    2 - The transcription of the recording is a plate of spaghetti, as if the system tried mix French and English.

      Hi the same thing has happened here. The captions for the meeting was in English. But the meeting summary was  generated into a local language.

        We're having the same issue.

        Meeting held in English, captions set to English on the host running AI Companion

        Transcripts have been generated in French and Czech.

        Is there a definitive answer on how to stop this and to be able to set the transcription language, setting at a global level would be ideal.

          My English speaking speaker had a HINDI accent and and the summary is in HINDI.  Trying to get the summary into English!

              Same issue has occurred on several occasions. 
              Meeting is in english, participants in India. AI summary is in English, or Hindi or Tamil (Regional local language). My settings are all english. No one touched any CC. 
              Poor experience.

                Hi Zoom team, do you have a solution for this? We are experiencing issues with language auto-detection and we only want an English summary. How can we set this?

                  I’m having the same problem.  I followed the link given by Zoom above and clicked on the cc button in the meeting window and set language to Spanish.  But I’m still receiving the email summaries in English.  I want them to be in Spanish.

                  Still looking for an answer to this. AI Companion is making an English meeting summary and it is sending the summary in Dutch. I want to forcibly set a language for the meeting summary.

                    I am facing the same issue too... 
                    Also, I am Maltese and speak the Maltese language. The AI summary gets generated in Arabic which I cannot even decipher as we use English like alphabet.

                      I have same issue.  I am using Zoom in Japan and have meetings in Japanese but receive AI summaries in English.  The account belongs to Japanese company and my setting is in Japan/Japanese.
