On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

If one Zoom Meeting participant has AI Companion turned on, do we all get the prompt?

I have turned off AI Companion. I find it annoying and some participants find it intrusive.

However, if one of the participants has AI Companion running during a meeting I have initiated, do I still get a prompt that AI Companion is recording the session?

Thanks!

Hi @philippejj

AI Companion features can only be enabled by the host of the meeting, so if it was you that scheduled it, you should be the only user that can start these features in a meeting.

In any case, if an AI Companion feature is activated during a meeting, all participants will be notified of that feature being active.

Hope that helps and let me know if you have any further questions. Otherwise, make sure to mark the solution as accepted if this information is what you needed.

When I turn on AI companion during a meeting, users are not notified. What am I missing?

Just want to know if there is any solutions to enable the AI companion but not prompt the notification at the meeting beginning?
