On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

I have "Create Audio Transcript" checked, but I am not getting transcripts

I don't know why I am not getting transcripts.  I have recordings, I get the email with the link for that, but I never get the email to access to VTT file, nor do I see any VTT files with my recordings.  What am I missing?

Hello,

the VTT file is only generated for live transcriptions. If you want to get the VTT file with your recording, you need to activate the automated captions during the meeting.
In addition, you can also watch a transcript in full text form when playing back the recording, but it cannot be downloaded.

Yes, I understand now that I have to enable captioning in order to get the transcript with the recording.  In fact, I used this feature successfully yesterday.
