Can't turn on Zoom AI Companion. I click the switch to enable but doesn't stay.

Hey there. I'm looking to enable the Zoom AI Companion for certain users of our company. I tried going into the Account Settings and turning on the toggle switch but it doesn't stay on, it just goes back to off. I then get a message the settings have been saved.

I need to figure out why I can't turn this on, and then explore how to control access to only certain users.

Thanks in advance!

HI @rdunlap, thank you for posting this to the Zoom Community!

First, please clear your browser's cache and cookies by following the steps outlined here: How to clear Zoom cache and cookies on a web browser.

Then, please follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Account Settings.
  3. Click the AI Companion tab.
  4. Under General, click the AI Companion panel in Zoom Workplace toggle to enable or disable it.
  5. If a verification dialog appears, click Enable or Disable to verify the change.
  6. (Optional) Select the Auto-delete AI Companion conversation history after(days) then select between 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, or 120 days.
  7. Click Save.
  8. (Optional) To prevent all users in your account from changing this setting, click the lock icon

, and then click Lock to confirm the setting.

Let me know how it goes!

Have you heard of Zoom AI Companion?

Thank you for this. I will try in a couple minutes.

Is there any way to only allow certain employees to use the AI Companion?

Just tried this and still doesn't work. Flip the switch and it goes right back to off. It does give us a green popup letting us know our settings have been saved but AI Companion remains off.

Yes @rdunlap , you can leverage Groups within the Zoom Administration portal to selectively deploy features (not just AI Companion) to specific users.  This article may help you:  https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0062584

Thank you for this. Can you possibly help us with turning on AI Companion?

yes @rdunlap but we have an Onboarding Center for customers looking to activate AI Companion that should help you with different assets including video guides walking you through how to enable AI Companion:  https://www.zoom.com/en/products/ai-assistant/resources/onboarding-resources/?amp_device_id=03f56f48...

This video should guide you through the process @rdunlap :  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DzPxScaB-2w

That's the issue we're having. I only see a single toggle switch on under the AI Companion. It's a lot different than what I'm seeing in the video.
