On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

I have a pro account and on my admin I have follwed and took this step:

  1. Log in to and update your Zoom client: Go to your Zoom client and make sure you’re logged in. Also check to make sure your client is updated (minimum version 5.16.0 required). >> Done 

  2. Go to your web portal account settings (click “Settings” in the left panel) and look for the AI Companion tab. For features that have user-level settings, you’ll be able to turn each capability on and off.  >> I do not see this option? Anything I can do?

Hi @shahedny 

Looked up your account details and found that you selected the option indicating your account provides educational services to children under the age of 18. Due to this, AI Companion features are not yet available for your account.

Sorry about that @shahedny . My view of your account may have caused the confusion. At this point, I am not sure exactly why you don't have access, so I would recommend contacting Zoom support directly so they can look into the exact reason.
