On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

AI Summary intermittently not working

AI summary is turned on by default for all my meetings, but some meetings do not provide a summary at all. This is super inconvenient when you don't take notes because you think this is working reliably.

Any suggestions on what is going on here?

Hi @SabineB, thank you for reaching out via the Zoom Community regarding the issue with AI summaries in your Zoom meetings.

 


This may be due to meetings scheduled before the setting was enabled. For meetings scheduled before the AI summary feature was activated, you'll need to adjust the settings individually. Simply open each meeting, click on "Edit," navigate to "Options," and select "Show." Then, ensure that "Automatically start meeting summary" is checked.
