On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

I don't understand why I get post meeting summaries only from some meetings since all the settings are the same.

Pls help

If you are only receiving post-meeting summaries for some meetings despite having the same settings, it could be due to the following reasons based on the content of the provided URL:

  • Host Settings: The AI Companion feature must be enabled by the meeting host for summaries to be generated. If the host does not activate this feature or has not adjusted their settings to automatically generate summaries for every meeting, summaries may not be created.

  • Participant Notifications: All participants are notified when a meeting summary is being generated. If this notification is not present, it indicates that the feature was not enabled for that specific meeting.

  • Manual Activation: While AI Companion can generate summaries automatically if configured, it also requires manual activation in some cases. If the host forgets to activate it, no summary will be generated.

  • Feature Availability: There may be compatibility or backend issues affecting the feature's functionality for certain meetings.

To ensure consistent summaries, verify that the AI Companion is enabled and configured to generate summaries automatically for all meetings. Additionally, check with the meeting host to confirm the feature's activation.
