I've been searching Settings but can't see how to turn AI Companion off, absolutely and completely. How do I do this?

When signed in as an admin, navigate to Account Management -> Account Settings -> AI Companion and disable everything.

Agreed, this is an unwelcome feature and a major distraction for Zoom's development team that still hasn't managed to perfect their core product. IMO Zoom should just license their AI from companies who actually build AI focus on making their conferencing best-in-class rather than expanding laterally with an entire suite of almost-capable products! We do not need a suite, we need amazing video conferencing.

Where is Account Management?

Settings > Account Management - but in fact I see that it's offering "AI Companion" as an "upgrade" now on the front page 🤣 so it's off by default.

Hm. I'm using the free version, and there's nothing there to disable. "Meeting summary with AI Companion" is turned off by default, but I assume the vampiric language-sucker will be hovering at my elbow at all times, also by default.

After hours of searching, your info re ACCOUNT MAGT/ACCOUNT SETTINGS showed me the AI Companion button. I just turned it off. MANY, MANY THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've done this but it's still popping up (so annoying). Any thoughts? I don't have any groups set up.

Is there any way to turn it off for the entire organization?  We’ve had several failed meetings because no one was willing to stay on with the transcription working away.  it was just creepy. And I think every person in the organization might need to do it in their own settings.  Can we just turn it off once, organization-wide?

hi @AJindrich

If your account holder looks at account managment > Account settings and look at the AI Companion Tab, you can turn off many AI companion features.

Please like and mark as the solution if this helps

All the best
