If your AI Companion meeting summary was not generated despite being activated, consider the following:
- AI Companion features now have an onboarding workflow that lets you choose when to start AI Companion, who can ask questions, and who receives the summary. After setup, you can edit these choices in the Zoom web portal.
- Meeting summary generation depends on settings: If the summary was not generated, check if the feature was enabled for that specific meeting and if your choices in the onboarding workflow allow summaries to be sent to you.
- Cloud Recording, Meeting Summary, and Automatic Captions must be enabled before the AI Companion Voice Recorder can be used.
- Admins can control feature availability: If you’re not the admin, confirm with your admin that the AI Companion and meeting summary features are enabled for your account and meetings.
- Bug fixes and updates: Ensure your Zoom Workplace app is updated, as recent releases have addressed issues with AI Companion features.
