Zoom Updates wipe out my saved settings even my virtual backgrounds

Is there a way to preserve my settings so that it does not take me back to square one?  I have noticed this happening over the past month or two...

    Experiencing this as well and am inundated with the back-and-forth of logs to Zoom support.

     

    Please open a support ticket as well so Zoom is aware that so many users are getting hit with this issue!

    My settings for meetings are not being applied/saved.
    I keep having to add my preferred settings every meeting I have set in Google Calendar.
    Why doesn't Zoom just Fix the problem with an update?
    This is a bug because I know many people who are paying like myself having the same issue.
    This is a huge issue which seems to force the Pro Tier for support.

      Updated and all my personal settings are gone. All Virtual backgrounds are gone and in the newest update I can not upload new backgrounds. This has happened before and I recovered by signing to my account, but not this time. Why does updates cause a lost of preferences? I don't want anymore updates
