Please help: Indefinitely "connecting" thus can't host meeting
Previously I was able to host meetings just fine and then one day a couple weeks ago when I try to host a meeting, the top of my screen says 'connecting' indefinitely. It never connects and I can't start the meeting. I have a Macbook Air with the new apple chip. I'm updated to Monterey. I'm having this problem on desktop and my phone as well.
So far I've tried:
- Restarting my computer
- Deleting and reinstalling the app using the trash bin
- Deleting and reinstalling the app using the 'uninstall this app' feature on the dropdown menu in the app.
- Checking to make sure I'm not using a VPN or proxy
- Turning off my firewall.
- Updating my Macbook to the latest iOS (Monterey)
- Checking that my WiFi doesn't have any parental controls on it
- Deleting and resinstalling the app again after updating to Monterey
I have no idea how to fix this and it's affecting my job. Can anyone please help?
