I can't see record button in my zoom meeting

Hi All,

 

I'm using zoom via chrome browser and have enabled local recording from the settings tab in my profile. But, I still can see the record button in the recording. I have the basic zoom version and unfortunately cannot see the record button during the meeting

 

Please help to solve the problem. How can I add the needed recording button?

    Hi @Abhibali 

     

    You cannot record locally in Zoom from a a web browser.

     

    From a browser you would be able to start a cloud recording, if you had a Paid account.

     

    To record locally you will need to use the Zoom client application from https://zoom.us/download

    Hi @Rupert , 

    I have the same problem with @Abhibali , and already tried with the link that you advised, but i still cant find the recording button. Do you know why?
