Enhanced in meeting chat not showing in Zoom client even though it's switched on in settings

Hi,

 

I have the enhanced "in meeting" chat enabled in Zoom settings, however I'm not seeing it when I opened Zoom. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Zoom desktop client which seemed to fix it temporarily, but somehow it seems to have reverted. Others in my org clearly have access to it as I'm forever seeing messages of "<person> reacted to message <y> with <emoji>" as plain text messages in the chat. Does anyone know why this might be?

    The new meeting chat experience requires client version 5.13.0 or higher:  https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/11402068443021-Using-the-new-meeting-chat-experience
