I made an error when setting up my webinar and instead of recording to the cloud I recorded to the local computer - and as I was the host I assumed that would be my PC.
It transpires the session did not record at all, and I would like to know if there is any way of retrieving a recording of my webinar after the event.
Thank you

There might be a way to retrieve the recording, but the easiest and most reliable way to ensure that your webinar is recorded is to record locally to your computer. That way, even if the recording in Zoom fails, you will still have a recording on your computer.

If your webinar did not record, it can be frustrating, but there are a few ways you may be able to retrieve it.
Check the webinar platform: Some webinar platforms automatically save recordings to their servers. Check the settings or the help section of your webinar platform to see if the recording was automatically saved and can be accessed.
Check your computer: If you were recording the webinar locally on your computer, check the location where the recording was saved to see if it is still there.
Check with the attendees: If you did not record the webinar, ask your attendees if they recorded the webinar or if they would be willing to share their recording with you.
Contact the support team: If you are unable to retrieve the recording, reach out to the support team of the webinar platform you used. They may be able to help you retrieve the recording or provide additional troubleshooting steps.
Try to record it again: If you are unable to retrieve the recording, you can try to record it again. This time, ensure that you have the right settings and configurations, and that you have enough storage on your computer.
In summary, if your webinar did not record, you may be able to retrieve it by checking the webinar platform, your computer, ask attendees, contact the support team or by recording it again.
