As a testament to Zoom’s ongoing efforts to provide secure experiences across our all-in-one intelligent collaboration platform, we are pleased to announce that our core products are officially registered with the Information system Security Management and Assessment Program (ISMAP).

ISMAP assesses the security of cloud service providers (CSPs) and is designed to ensure compliance with Japanese government cloud security requirements. To achieve ISMAP certification, CSPs must undergo an evaluation by a third-party auditor who assesses the implementation of information security measures and management controls. Once approved, the CSPs can become a registered ISMAP provider, which enables businesses and government agencies to expedite their work together.

Which Zoom products are ISMAP certified?

Our intelligent collaboration platform includes several core products designed to increase productivity and contribute to our mission of delivering limitless communication. As of December 25, 2023, the following Zoom products are certified with ISMAP:

What does ISMAP certification mean for Zoom customers?

ISMAP certified products are an indicator of trust and provide peace of mind that the Japanese government’s security requirements were met. As part of the certification process, CSPs are evaluated on more than 1,000 requirements, including encryption practices and malware protection. This recognition enables government agencies to streamline the procurement process when evaluating cloud-based services.

Our ongoing commitment to global security standards

Third-party certifications are integral to our security program’s foundation, and this achievement adds another layer to our growing list of security certifications and attestations. We’re committed to expanding our security initiatives through attestations and certifications like ISMAP to enable our customers to safely collaborate and exchange information with ease.
