the latest zoom version of the desktop app

When I try to use the desktop app, I'm told that I need to upgrade to version 5.15.5.  It also tells me to contact my IT department to have this done.  I don't have an IT department.  What do I do now?

    Hello,

    Unistall Zoom from your computer. Then download a new version of Zoom.

     after getting the same upgrade message, I uninstalled zoom and reinstalled. I cannot find the version of my new install nor can I find zoom listed in the program on my windows desktop.  Any other suggestions?
