I want to set up background for my meeting. It says to go to Account Management, then Account settings. However that option is not there. It says I need to be an administrator. How do I set my account to admin with the Basic account?
A basic account has no account level settings. Just ensure you have Virtual Background enabled in your Settings page, then upload the image for use in the desktop client.
Hey @THEVVAH, can you please elaborate more on what Account settings are missing?
Also, are you an owner, admin, or member of the account? If you're not an owner, the owner or an admin with privileges has the ability to turn settings on or off for a group of users in your account. Also has the ability to lock settings on or off to force them on or disable them for the group.
If you're an owner on and you have 'missing' settings or they're locked, you can manage those settings as an Admin or Owner on the account at https://zoom.us/account/setting. If a setting was locked within the account management settings, you can re-configure your personal account settings to your needs at https://zoom.us/profile/setting.
Hope this helps you and looking forward to your response! 🙂
https://zoom.us/account/setting takes me to a No permission. (200) error page. I am the sole Owner of my account but under ADMIN > Account Management I only get the options Account Profile, Billing and Reports.
I made a recording of a meeting that didn't save locally and I am trying to figure out was it an issue with my settings.
Any suggestions would be appreciate it. Thanks in advance!
Hey @taboadamireia, within the Admin Settings > User Management > Role Management > click on Owner and ensure as the owner you have the ability to view and edit all. Let me know if that helps!
