What happens to my existing membership if I renew it MANUALLY before expiration?

My Zoom One Business expires on March 31, 2024.

 

When I proceed to payment to pay an additional annual subscription NOW (Nov. 28), Zoom tells me that the new auto-renewal date will be Nov. 28 2024.

 

What happens to my existing membership? Shouldn't it be March 31, 2025 not Nov. 28 2024?
